The InfoCluster of the printing and publishing industry is a corporate network of companies operating in the printing, publishing and IT industries. Its main objective is to ensure comprehensive, high-standard delivery of all kinds of printing and publishing orders. For this purpose, IT tools and guidelines have been developed to enable cluster members to communicate and increase their production capacities. The printing and publishing industry is represented by both printers and advertising agencies. A high level of specialisation of the cluster members, a diversified range of products and services offered and the application of all available printing technologies enables processing orders of large corporations in a comprehensive and trouble-free manner. The involvement of business environment institutions and a research and development unit guarantees further support for the development of the cluster.
The City of Inowrocław is one of the signatories of the agreement of 19 March 2014 on the joint carrying out of the “Development and implementation of the development strategy for the InfoCluster of the Polish Printing and Publishing Group”, a project for which EU financial support was obtained from the Cooperative Associations Fund under the Regional Operational Programme of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province. The undertaking consisted in taking appropriate measures to establish and foster mutual regional collaboration of companies based in the province, in order to work out and implement a development strategy for the cluster through setting up communication platforms based on high tech solutions, procuring R&D studies and applying their results to business activities of cluster members, finding new clients or groups of clients for the products or services offered by cluster members, and taking part in economic missions, and national and international fairs.
The main tasks and objectives of the InfoCluster:
Undertaking initiatives to the benefit of companies represented by cluster members, in order to facilitate their operation and growth, and to strengthen mutual collaboration.
